The client had to create a brochure for an exhibition in Japan, the Art director had proposed to use a constant and minimal theme for the whole collection that suited the Japanese taste, so I proposed to use only leaves as a background that reminded the design with vegetable shoots of the jewels, but treated in post production so that the color of the leaf was very careful to keep the attention on the jewels. In a week I identified the over 20 plants needed for the shooting that had leaves of adequate size and shape for the project.

In this case it was important for the client to have a chromatic gap between the gold of the jewelry and the model’s complexion, the client’s art director did not want to use post production to model in black and white and the jewel in color. , so we proposed to take a photo of the model without jewels, we printed it on fine art paper in black and white to highlight the material consistency of the photo, almost at real size, then on the printed photo we applied the jewel in a position that would replicate the position of a jewel actually worn, leaving the extremes visible to show the assembly.
